Over 12,000 Iranian infants born outside Iran last year

According to IRNA, Bahman Mashayekhi, a top official with the National Organization for Civil Registration, said in the meantime that the organization has registered some 1,160 deaths of Iranians living abroad over the past year. 

In addition, some 4,059 marriages as well as 810 separations were registered for Iranian nationals living outside the country, Mashayekhi said. 

He said that the number of marriage shows an increase compared to figures from the preceding year and the number of separations have declined.
