New Packaging Standards for Fruit, Vegetable Exports
EghtesadOnline: Exports of fruit and vegetables are required to comply with a new set of packaging standards devised by Iran Trade Promotion Organization as of July 22.
Fruit and vegetables are one of Iran’s main exports to regional markets such as Iraq and the Persian Gulf Littoral states. In the past few years, these exports declined in terms of both weight and value due to improper packaging, reports Financial Tribune.
