World eager to enhance ties with Iran: MP
EghtesadOnline: The continued visit by foreign delegations to Iran shows that world countries are keen to enhance their relations with the Islamic Republic, a senior Iranian lawmaker said on Saturday.
Making the comments on Saturday, Spokesman for Parliament's Commission on Industries and Mines Ramezanali Sobhanifar praised government efforts in encouraging foreign investors to engage with Iran following the removal of sanctions. Due to the government efforts, foreign investments have largely grown in the past three years, Sobhanifar said.
The presence of foreign delegations in Iran shows that the world is eagerly after developing relations with the Islamic Republic, the official said.
According to IRNA, Sobhanifar noted that several countries have called for facilitation of trade and visa issuances with Iran after the settlement of Iran's nuclear issue.
The United States is sabotaging foreign investments in Iran, he said, adding that despite barriers created to stop further negotiations between Iranian and foreign companies, foreign investments are on the rise in the country.
