Larijani applauds Iranian medal winners in Olympic Games

He said that the dear Iranian athletes exercised intensive competition with their all capabilities and achieved good success in some majors making the hearts of the people happy, reports IRNA.

'But, in some other fields, in spite of efforts and endeavours, no success was achieved, so it is necessary to get ready for the next events with appropriate planning and programming.'

Larijani also praised Miss Kimia Alizadeh, the first Iranian woman winning a medal in the Olympic competition.

He congratulated her and all Iranian women on her victory.
