Tehran to extend $100 million line of credit to Quito: Ecuador FM

Speaking to reporters after a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif, he said that the Islamic Republic will extend a 100 million dollar credit line to Ecuador to facilitate financial issues for the Iranian companies that provide technical and engineering services to the country.

Zarif, heading a 120-member delegation is on a six-nation tour of Latin America in a bid to broaden economic cooperation between Iran and the states in the region.

According to IRNA, the Iranian foreign minister was in Cuba on Monday and travelled to Nicaragua on Tuesday.

Following Ecuador, Zarif will visit Chile, Bolivia and Venezuela later this week.
