9th Int'l Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition kicks off in Tehran
EghtesadOnline: The 9th International Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition started work in Tehran International Exhibition on Wednesday.
The official opening ceremony of the event is to be held in the presence of the first Vice-President Es'haq Jahangiri, Vice-President for Science and Technology and President of the National Elites Foundation Sorena Sattari, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution Mohammad Reza Mokhber Dezfuli and the Secretary of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council Saeed Sarkar.
Student advocacy institutions, scientific, students and universities associations and organizations, research centers and companies active in nanotechnology field participated in the event, according to IRNA.
Nanotechnology facilities granting funds, nano and industrial products companies from Taiwan, South Korea and Russia have also presented their products to the event.
Sideline programs of the exhibition includes meetings with 50 foreign ambassadors to develop nanotechnology coopertion.
There will also be tours for interested people to visit the exhibition.
