According to IRNA, Saudi airstrikes tore through a hall where memorial service for the father of Yemeni interior minister was being held. The airstrikes left over 700 dead and injured.

While over one-and-a half-year passed since the beginning of the Saudi military aggression on the impoverished country, the world once again was shocked by Saudi airstrikes targeted a hall in south of the capital, which left hundreds of civilians killed and injured, the message said.

This is while certain so-called advocates of human rights have kept silent toward the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Saudi leaders, it said.

'I strongly condemned the Yemeni crimes and express sympathy with your Excellency, lawmakers and families of martyrs,' he said addressing Yemeni parliament speaker Yahya Ali al-Raaei.

Larijani said that Iran is ready to help airlift the wounded for medical treatment in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Iran's Red Crescent Society.
