75,000 barrels daily extracted from North Azadegan oilfield
EghtesadOnline: Operator of North Azadegan oil field development project Keramatollah Behbahani said following commissioning of the first phase of the project for development of North Azadegan field, 75,000 bpd oil will be produced out of the field jointly owned with Iraq.
Behbahani told a group of oil industry officials that once second phase of the project is complete, North Azadegan field's output will rise up to 150,000 bpd.
North Azadegan oil field is part of Azadegan oil field southwest of Iran. It is located 120 kms west of Ahvaz on Iran-Iraq border, according to IRNA.
