Iran calls for all sides' respecting ceasefire in Yemen
EghtesadOnline: Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi welcomed the declaration of ceasefire in Yemen, and underlined the need for efforts by all sides to extend ceasefire and end the futile war.
'We welcome a statement by UN Secretary General's envoy on Yemen to establish a 72-hour ceasefire in Yemen,' Qassemi said.
Qassemi expressed the hope that all the warring sides, especially the Saudi-led coalition, would respect the ceasefire and allow the humanitarian aid to swiftly and without facing any obstacle reach the oppressed people of Yemen and the war-affected people, especially the wounded people of the recent massacre in Sana'a, according to IRNA.
He described the humanitarian conditions of Yemen as tragic and regretting.
Qassemi underlined the need for efforts by all sides to continue ceasefire and end the futile war in Yemen.
