Iran appoints new ambassadors to Syria, Oman
EghtesadOnline: Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said the ministry has chosen the ambassadors of Iran to Oman and Syria.
In an exclusive interview with Iranian Students’ News Agency, Qasemi said Iran’s ambassador to two effective countries in the region have been elected after full analysis.
He added their names would be announced after President Rouhani confirms their appointment, ISNA reported.
Iran’s official stated that the country plans to appoint ambassadors to some other countries as well, adding they would be announced very soon.
The ambassadors to Syria and Oman returned to Iran after their missions ended in those countries.
