A company press release claims that IKCO has been adding new vehicles to expand its market share. The sale of the small SUV was launched in June. The model is based on Renault’s Clio, with a small 1.2 liter gasoline engine.  The raised ride height, being 50 cm from the floor, gives it the look of a micro-SUV. The vehicle was initially offered for 989 million rials ($29,000). With IKCO producing the Peugeot 2008 — which is pegged against the Captur — it remains to be seen whether the company will continue to produce the Captur, according to Financial Tribune.
