Supreme Leader urges immediate relief aid to flood-hit areas
EghtesadOnline: Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a message late on Saturday expressed condolences to the families of flood victims in provinces of East Azarbaijan, West Azarbaijan, Kurdestn and Ardebil and called on the officials to immediately provide relief aid to those affected and help relieve their sufferings.
The message reads that flood in provinces of East Azarbaijan, West Azarbaijan, Kurdestn and Ardebil which killed dozens of dear fellow- countrymen and caused heavy damage is a disastrous and painful incident, IRNA reported.
“I express condolences to the bereaved families and wish them patience and peace from the Almighty. I wish the departed souls peace and forgiveness,” the Leader said.
The officials should provide urgent aid to those affected and help ease their sufferings. No delay and slackness is allowed in the relief operations, the message said.
