Khouzestan Oxin’s 1st Foray Into German Market
EghtesadOnline: Khouzestan Oxin Steel Company has shipped its first batch of steel plates to Germany from the southern Iranian port of Bandar Imam Khomeini, the company’s managing director announced on Monday.
Abdolreza Mohammadpour added that the shipment weighs about 15,000 tons and is valued at $24 million. “Oxin Steel Company’s products are now shipped all over Europe via Bandar Imam Khomeini,” he was quoted as saying by Foolad News. Oxin Steel is Iran’s only producer of steel plates used in shipbuilding, Financial Tribune reported.
