Iran Mining Technology Confab in July
EghtesadOnline: The First Iran Mining Technology Conference is scheduled to be held by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization in Tehran on July 11-12.
According to the event’s website, the confab will bring together international suppliers and solution providers to showcase the latest technologies used in the mining industry with the aim of achieving further efficiency, safety and profitability. Speakers at the summit include Shamseddin Siasirad, TRT manager of IMIDO; Andre Booyzen, general manager of Mandalay Resources Corporation; Michael Pope, planner/coordinator of Queensland Alumina Ltd.; Steve Amor, former principal—technology development at Anglo American, and Mohammad Reza Bahraman, chairman of Iran Mine House, according to Financial Tribune.
