Rouhani: Steel, auto industry on verge of joining int'l market
EghtesadOnline: President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday that apart from the active presence of Iran's petrochemical industry in the global market, the country’s steel and auto industries are also on the verge of joining world market.
Speaking during a cabinet session, the president hailed major steps the government has taken in boosting agricultural, oil and gas sectors, capital attraction and exports of domestic products.
Positive growth of non-oil trade balance over the past two years, improving inflation rate to a single-digit and reducing imports are among the main achievements of the country which have also to be pursued in the current year, Rouhani said.
According to IRNA, the president underlined the need for promotion of production and tourism industry to boost employment.
