Iran-Africa Investment Confab Planned

EghtesadOnline: In order to expand business relations between Iranian and African investors and increase trade volume, African investors will attend a conference in Iran within two months, said an advisor to Majlis speaker on international affairs.

“Important economic data about Iran’s businesses will be provided to participants,” Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was also quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency. Iran-Africa Economic and Investment Conference will be held by the Friendship Association of Iran and Cameroon in Tehran on September 5, 2017. The conference will be attended by Iranian and African ranking officials, African countries’ ambassadors to Iran and more than 600 private sector businesspeople. The conference aims to help establish banking branches, expand correspondent banking relations, sign trade agreements, identify investment opportunities and boost tourism, according to Financial Tribune.
