5 Iranian animation films screened at VAFI

The festival will be kicked off on May 30, 2017. This year 206 films applied from 37 countries and selectors Ida Loher and Martin Babić have made the final decision. 122 films will be shown on 6 official projections during VAFI 8.

According to IRNA, the five Iranian animation films which will be screened at VAFI are Souzanban (Switchman) directed by Mehdi Khorramian, Derakht-e-Porteghal (Orange tree) directed by Amir Houshang Moin, Safhe Khali (Blank Page) directed by Siavash Khodai, Parvanegi (The Butterfly) directed by Ali Azizi and Rumor directed by Leila Norouzi.
