Iran Mining Technology Summit Scheduled
EghtesadOnline: Tehran will be hosting the first edition of the Iran Mining Technology Summit from July 11 to 12, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported.
The event has been organized with the aim of surveying technological opportunities and challenges in the Iranian mining industry, IMIDRO’s website reported. Keynote speakers at the summit include the head of IMIDRO’s research and development, Shamseddin Siasirad, the head of Iran Mining House, Mohammad Reza Bahramen, vice president of Mandalay Resources, Andre Booyzen, maintenance planner at Queensland Alumina Ltd, Michael Pope, and Anglo American’s former head of technology development, Steve Amor, according to Financial Tribune.
