Loans for Expansion of Cage Fish Farming

EghtesadOnline: About 12 trillion rials ($315 million) worth of loans have been earmarked for the expansion of cage fish farming in the current Iranian year (March 2017-18), the deputy head of Iran Fisheries Organization, Seifollah Haqiqi, said.

Cage fish farming is a relatively new method in Iran, wherein cages are placed in lakes, ponds, rivers or seas to breed fish until they can be harvested, according to Financial Tribune.
