IRGC arrests perpetrators of recent terrorist attack in southeast Iran
EghtesadOnline: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that the perpetrators of a terrorist attack on August 19 in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan were arrested.
“The terrorists involved in the attack in Pishin, a small town located in Sarbaz County in the Sistan and Balouchestan Province were arrested through an accurate information and operational process of Iranian forces,” the public relations office of Qods headquarters of IRGC’s ground forces said in a statement.
The terrorist attack has resulted in the martyrdom of two soldiers and a local who was member of Basij, according to the statement.
“The IRGC forces confiscated weapons and ammunition in the operation to arrest the terrorists,” it added.
