“A Man of Integrity” in Film Festival Gent in Belgium
EghtesadOnline: Iranian film “A Man of Integrity” which won the “Un Certain Regard” prize at the 70th Cannes Film Festival is among the 12 films in competition section of the Film Festival Gent in Belgium.
“A Man of Integrity” or “Lerd” which had its first worldwide screening at the 70th Cannes Film Festival and won the "Un Certain Regard", was chosen as one of the 12 films competing at the 44th Film Festival Gent.
According to ISNA, this film is Mohammad Rassoulof’s sixth feature film which narrates the fate of Reza, a man with a simple life who will try to fight against the corruption of a private company pushing the villagers to sell their goods.
The twelve selected feature films are “1945” by Ferenc Török, “The Butcher, The Whore & the One-eyed Man” by János Szász, “Call Me by Your Name” by Luca Guadagnino, “A Ciambra” by Jonas Carpignano, “The Fixer” by Adrian Sitaru, “The Killing of a Sacred Deer” by Yorgos Lanthimos, “A Man of Integrity” by Mohammad Rasoulof, “The night I swam” by Damien Manivel and Kohei Igarashi, “Tesnota” by Kantemir Balagov, “Thelma” by Joachim Trier, “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” by Martin McDonagh and "Zagros" by Sahim Omar Kalifa.
The 44th edition of the festival will take place from October 10 to 20.
