Iran, Uganda to develop banking, economic cooperation
EghtesadOnline: Foreign Ministry's Africa Department Director General Mehdi Aqa Jafari in a meeting with Uganda officials discussed ways to promote economic and trade ties and also banking cooperation.
During his trip, Aqa Jafari met with First Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of Government Business in Parliament Moses Ali, Uganda Deputy Minister of Trade Industry and cooperatives Julius Onen and Chairman of Uganda Oil and Mines Chamber.
During the meeting Moses Ali expressed Uganda readiness in developing cooperation in trade, economic, agricultural and keeping live stocks, IRNA reported.
Meanwhile, Julius Onen stressed Uganda readiness to create facilities for Iranian businessmen and industrialists in Uganda.
In the meantime, Uganda Chairman said unfortunately world media distort realities in Iran and Uganda.
