Iran exports 38 tons of cheese, dried milk to Russia
EghtesadOnline: Head of Astara Veterinary Network Bahram Pourzarb announced on Monday exports of two consignments of dried milk and crème cheese worth 125,000 dollars to Russia.
He said that 18 tons of crème cheese worth 88,215 dollars and 20 tons dried milk worth 36,800 dollars were exported from border terminal of Astara to Russia by permission of Mazandaran Veterinary Department and supervision of Astara Veterinary Network.
According to IRNA, Pourzarb said 10 consignments of crème cheese and four consignments of dried milk have been exported from this border point in the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2017).
Astara has a population of 91,000 and is located at far west of northern province of Gilan, neighboring Azerbaijan Republic.
