Iran, UK to cooperate in cancer treatment
EghtesadOnline: Iran and UK on Monday signed a cooperation document on construction of Cancer Treatment Center in Iran.
Talking to reporters, Iran's Ambassador to Britain Hamid Baeedinejad said that based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between Iranian and British side, 60 new cancer centers will be constructed and about 40 to 50 other centers will be promoted.
According to IRNA, he added that the project is estimated to cost 1.800 million Euros.
Witney King, chief executive of International Hospitals Group, a healthcare company based in Hertfordshire and the British side of the deal also told reporters that his company is interested to implement the project as soon as possible.
