Iran FM off to Balkan, East Europe
EghtesadOnline: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif heading a politico-economic delegation departed Tehran for a visit to four Eastern European countries on Monday.
Zarif is scheduled to visit Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina during the regional tour which starts from Belgrade, IRNA reported.
A high-ranking trade delegation comprising economic activists and entrepreneurs from private and public sectors accompany Zarif during his tour of Balkan and East European states, Foreign Ministry spokesmen Bahram Qasemi earlier said.
Meeting with his counterparts and other top officials of these countries and convention of forums between traders are on the agenda of the Iranian foreign minister's regional tour, he added.
