Iran Exports to Russia Rise 30%
EghtesadOnline: Iran’s exports to Russia witnessed a 30% rise in 2017 compared to the year before to stand at $392 million, Iran’s commercial attaché to Russia announced.
Farhad Parand added that Iran’s imports from Russia decreased from $1.8 billion in 2016 to $1.03 billion last year, IRNA reported. Food products accounted for 70% of Iran’s exports to Russia ($273 million).
Metal, cement, chemical materials and minerals were among other commodities exported from Iran to Russia. According to Parand, 14 Iranian chambers have offices in Russia, Financial Tribune reported.
