Ardabil Exports Earn $25m in Three Months
EghtesadOnline: Some 340,000 tons of goods worth $25.3 million were exported from the northwest Ardabil Province during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21), indicating a rise of 72% in value compared with last year’s corresponding period.
According to Hamed Ameli, the head of Ardabil Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, Iraq, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan were the major export destinations for commodities exported from Ardabil.
The province imported $3.60 million worth of commodities during the three months, going down by 56% year-on-year, IRNA reported. Germany, Turkey and Italy were the main exporters of goods to Ardabil, Financial Tribune reported.
