7.7% Growth in Frozen Beef Imports
EghtesadOnline: Around 34,357 tons of frozen beef worth close to $147.92 million were imported into Iran during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21-July 22), registering a 2.6% and 7.7% increase in weight and value respectively compared with the similar period of last year.
The latest figures were released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, according to Financial Tribune.
Frozen beef imports accounted for 0.3% and 0.97% of the volume and value of Iran’s total imports over the period respectively, Mehr News Agency reported.
