Glassware, Chinaware Production Rises
EghtesadOnline: More than 113,000 tons of glassware were produced in the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21), registering an increase of 15.9% compared with last year’s corresponding period, the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade reported.
As for chinaware, production stood at over 11,000 tons during the same period to register an 11.4% year-on-year growth.
In the last fiscal year (March 2017-18), the production of glassware and chinaware stood at over 412,000 tons and 46,000 tons, 10.6% and 2.2% less compared to the preceding year respectively, Financial Tribune reported.
