France Replaces UK on Flight Suspension List
EghtesadOnline: The suspension of UK flights has been lifted, as France replaces it on the flight ban list, according to the spokesperson of the National Aviation Organization.
"Restrictions on UK flights were lifted on April 14, despite the previous announced date of May 6, with the agreement of Health Ministry," Mohammad-Hassan Zibakhsh was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
With the outbreak of new coronavirus strains in the UK, Iran cancelled all flights to and from London in December.
This is while France has been added to the list of the countries that Iran has suspended flights with.
France has currently reported the highest number of Covid-19 cases. There have been at least 5,106,300 confirmed cases of coronavirus in this country. As of April 14, 99,480 people had died, according to the French government.
Currently, Iran has placed restrictions on flights with 39 countries due to the outbreak. A negative PCR test result is required from passengers traveling from countries considered dangerous.
