Tehran to host Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Committee meeting
The 9th meeting of the Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Cooperation Commission will be held in Tehran on December 9 with the aim of developing trade-economic cooperation and improving constructive interaction between the two sides.
The 9th Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Cooperation Commission, which will run through December 11, will be headed by Iran’s Minister of Energy and Chairman of Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Cooperation Commission Ali Akbar Mehrabian.
It is held annually between officials of Iran and Qatar for the development of economic cooperation and constructive interaction between the two sides.
The commission will be held within the framework of four specialized committees including the Trade Committee, Instructure Committee, Social and Cultural Committee and Energy Committee, discussing ways for the advancement of agreements inked previously between the two sides.
A specialized exhibition of Iran’s achievements in the fields of “food industry”, “healthcare, treatment and pharmaceutical industry”, “agricultural industry” and “knowledge-based companies” will be held on the sidelines of the meeting to introduce the capabilities and potential of Iran in these industries.
The 8th edition of the Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Cooperation Commission was held in the Qatari capital of Doha in 2022.
