EghtesadOnline: The consumer price index (using the Iranian year to March 2017 as the base year) stood at 120.1 for the western province of Kermanshah and 110.4 for the southern province of Bushehr in the Iranian month of Ordibehesht (April 21-May 21), the biggest and smallest among all Iranian provinces respectively.

EghtesadOnline: Eight Iranian provinces, namely Hormozgan, Semnan, Markazi, North Khorasan, Khorasan Razavi, Ardabil, Ilam and Zanjan, registered single-digit unemployment rates (7.5%, 8.3%, 8.5%, 8.7%, 8.8%, 9.2%, 9.6% and 9.6% respectively) in the third quarter of the current fiscal year (Sept. 23-Dec. 21, 2017), according to the latest report released by the Statistical Center of Iran.

EghtesadOnline: The provinces of East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Isfahan, Tehran, Qazvin, Kerman and Khorasan Razavi were the leading provinces in attracting foreign direct investments in 2016, according to the chairman of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, Ali Khazaei.
