EghtesadOnline: The research arm of Iranian Parliament has determined the absolute poverty line in urban and rural areas of the country in its latest analytical study.

EghtesadOnline: The official unemployment rate, according to the Statistical Center of Iran, stood at 9.8% in the first quarter of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20), indicating a 1.1% decline compared with the same period of last year.

EghtesadOnline: The research arm of the Iranian Parliament expects the economy, as measured by the gross domestic product, to contract between 0.5% and 2.8% by the end of the current fiscal year (March 2018-19).
