EghtesadOnline: About 230 million ornamental fish were produced in Iran in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2017), of which 66 million worth $2.2 million were exported, registering a twofold increase compared with the year before, the chairman of Iran Fisheries Organization told Financial Tribune.

EghtesadOnline: Markazi Province exported $2.4 million worth of ornamental fish in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2017) mainly to the UAE and Afghanistan, Ali Babaie, the head of Markazi Agricultural Jihad Organization, said in the opening ceremony of Iran’s first Ornamental Fish Research Center on Thursday.

EghtesadOnline: More than 200 million ornamental fish were produced in Iran over the nine months to December 20, an expert with Iran’s Fisheries Organization said.
