EghtesadOnline: The Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare is the state body responsible for determining the poverty line in Iran, the head of Statistical Center of Iran said.

EghtesadOnline: A study by the Institute for Management and Planning Studies supervised by chief economist Masoud Nili culled 975 figures as the poverty line from official and unofficial sources in 41 reports released by the Statistical Center of Iran and the Central Bank of Iran as well as independent research centers.
