EghtesadOnline: Procedures and formalities required for the customs clearance of imported essential goods, including rice, vegetable oil, tea and raw materials needed by factories, are now carried out in less than 24 hours at Iran’s biggest container port, Shahid Rajaee Port in the southern Hormozgan Province.

EghtesadOnline: The major part of the resources ($4 billion) went for importing raw material for industries, including fibers, wool, rubber and material for tire companies along with machinery and equipment.

EghtesadOnline: Close to €22 billion was allocated by the Central Bank of Iran for import of essential goods during the first nine months of the current fiscal (March 21- December 21).

EghtesadOnline: Central Bank of Iran Governor Abdolnasser Hemmati announced on his Instagram page that €3.2 billion have been allocated for the import of essential goods in the past one month.
