An official at Tamarchin Customs Office has said that more than $570 million worth of non-oil goods was exported from the customs office in the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2024).

EghtesadOnline: A total of 763,000 tons of goods worth $300 million were exported via Tamarchin border crossing, located in Piranshahr County of West Azarbaijan Province, in the last Iranian year (March 2022-23), registering a 56% and 18% rise in weight and value respectively, according to Ali Akbar Ashrafi, a local customs official.

EghtesadOnline: Exports of essential goods, as well as all types of herbal and edible plants, via Tamarchin border crossing, located in Piranshahr County in West Azarbaijan Province, to the neighboring Iraq has been banned, the governor of Piranshahr said.
