President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran has offered congratulations on the election of Sheikh Naim Qassem as Secretary-General of Hezbollah.

While hailing the outstanding role played by former Hezbollah Chief martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said, "We will certainly defeat the criminal Zionist regime."
