EghtesadOnline: Iran exported $336 million worth of hand-woven carpets to about 80 countries during the 10 months to Jan. 20, registering an increase of 21% compared with last year’s corresponding period.

EghtesadOnline: Iran exported $312 million worth of hand-woven carpets during the nine months to Dec. 21, registering a 26% increase compared with last year's corresponding period, Trade Promotion Organization's statistics showed.

EghtesadOnline: About $180 million worth of handmade carpets were exported from Iran during the seven months to Oct. 22, registering a 7.8% increase compared with the similar period of last year, the deputy head of Iran National Carpet Center for economic and commercial affairs, Mohammad Mehdi Farshchi, said.

EghtesadOnline: Iran has held the first place in the field of handmade carpet exports, registering 23.8% growth during the last Iranian year (21 March 2016- 20 March 2017) and 13.3% during the first six months of this year.

EghtesadOnline: Chairman of Iran National Carpet Center Hamid Kargar expects Iran's exports of hand-woven carpets to reach $400 million by the end of the current fiscal year (March 20).
