Hormozgan Ports

As announced by a provincial official, 9,624,473 tons of oil products and non-oil goods were loaded and unloaded at the ports of the west of Hormozgan province, in the south of Iran from March 21-December 21, 2023.

EghtesadOnline: Close to 8.22 million tons of oil and non-oil goods were loaded and unloaded in Hormozgan Province’s ports during the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21-April 20), registering a 4.1% increase compared with the similar period of the year before.

EghtesadOnline: More than 107.98 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded in ports located in the southern Hormozgan Province in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), registering a 7.4% rise compared to the previous year, the director general of Hormozgan Ports and Maritime Organization said.

EghtesadOnline: A total of 1.4 million tons of non-oil goods were exported from the eastern ports of Hormozgan Province, including Shahid Bahonar Port, to Persian Gulf littoral states and East Asian countries, registering a 17% rise compared with the year before, a provincial official affiliated to Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization said.

EghtesadOnline: Close to 53.32 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded in the ports of the southern Hormozgan Province during the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21-Sept. 22), registering a 6.5% rise compared with the corresponding period of last year, director general of the Ports and Maritime Organization of Hormozgan said.

EghtesadOnline: A total of 43.76 million tons of oil and non-oil goods were loaded and unloaded in the ports of the southern Hormozgan Province during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21-August 22) to register a 3.6% rise compared with last year’s similar period, the director general of Hormozgan Ports and Maritime Organization said.

EghtesadOnline: A total of 98.4 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded at the ports of the southern Hormozgan Province in the last fiscal year (ended March 20), registering an 8% rise compared with the previous year’s throughput, according to Hossein Abbasinejad, director general of the Ports and Maritime Organization of Hormozgan.
