Israel Can’t Hide Crimes behind Bribes, Intimidation: Iranian Spokesman

The Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman condemned the Zionist regime over torture and sexual abuse of Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, saying no amount of bribery or intimidation can hide the Israeli “cruel and inhuman” actions.

Spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baqaei has sharply condemned Israel following reports that Swedish climate and human rights activist Greta Thunberg was tortured and sexually humiliated while in Israeli custody after taking part in the Sumud flotilla’s attempt to break the Gaza blockade.

“Cruel, inhuman and degrading! This is how Israeli regime behaves to terrorize any courageous person who dares to stand up for justice & human dignity for Palestinians, and to intimidate the whole world into refraining from protesting its genocide & atrocities in Gaza and West Bank, while it pays selected influencers $7,000 per post to gloss over its crimes,” he said in a post on his X account on Sunday.

“The truth written by innocent blood cannot be concealed by bribery or intimidation,” Baqaei added./tasnim
