Iran to develop small airports
EghtesadOnline: Iranian Minister of Road and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi said that the country is going to develop small airports across the country.
“Small airports of the country have performed well in tourism and trade and can be developed,” Akhoundi said.
He said that 50 airports in Iran have few flights and are weak economically, according to ISNA.
The Iranian minister continued that 60 airports in Iran have been launched and making them economical is the first step, adding on the other hand, the number of flights should rise.
