Germany’s Deutsche Bank resumes ties with Iran

EghtesadOnline: Iranian Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Amir Hossein Zamaninia said Germany’s Deutsche Bank has resumed its oil cooperation with Iran.

Iranian official stated that prominent banks are also boosting their ties with Iran, adding transactions with Deutsche Bank of Germany were resumed to perform a number of oil deals.

Zamaninia underlined that major European banks would resume ties with Iran in near future; noting talks are being conducted in order to introduce IPCs to foreign companies, reports ISNA.

Germany’s Deutsche Bank had officially suspended banking activities in Iran in 2006 especially in areas of crude or oil product sales and now after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action it is returning to Iran again.
