South Pars' platform 18B goes on stream
EghtesadOnline: South Pars gas field’s platform 18B, with a capacity to recover 500 million cubic feet (around 14.5 million cubic meters) of gas per day officially went on-stream on Tuesday, an official said.
Operator of the project for development of phases 17 and 18 of South Pars Hassan Bouyeri said the recovered gas of the platform 18B of South Pars would be sent to the onshore refinery of the phases.
According to IRNA, Bouyeri underscored that the move has increased the amount of offshore gas production to 43 million cubic meters per day.
He said the platform 18B was installed in the Iranian month of Mordad (July22 -August21 ).
The platform 18B was made by domestic technicians at Iran Shipbuilding & Offshore Industries Complex Co (ISOICO) at Bandar Abbas industrial yard.
