Iran doesn’t need to test US government acts: FM spokesman
EghtesadOnline: Iran is totally familiar with US new and previous governments and doesn’t need to test their acts, Iranian foreign ministry spokesman insisted.
“Iran’s actions related to defensive issues have been conducted due to protecting national interests. The issue is our absolute right and there is no place for others to discuss it,” Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said during a press conference with reporters on Monday.
“Iran is an independent country and the government’s decisions are rooted in nation’s will. We defend our sovereignty with all tools,” ISNA quoted him as saying.
“We don’t use our missiles and other defensive programs neither as a tool nor messenger but also the measures are based on our interests and accurate timetable,” Ghasemi said “the missile issue is an internal matter which related to Iran’s government, sovereignty and nation. Any decision in this field is in our authority and we don’t need anyone to consulate with.”
