Iran to increase fruit export to South Korea
EghtesadOnline: Iran and South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) increase Iranian fruits export to South Korea.
According to IRNA, the MoU was signed on the sidelines of National Agricultural Co-operative Federation (NCF) of South Korea conference in Seoul.
The MoU was in direction of expanding cooperation in development of fruit export from Iran to South Korea by two Iranian commercial companies and the South Korean federation.
The Signed MoU is in the framework of joint economic commission which was held in past March in Tehran.
In that meeting, the two sides agreed to develop their cooperation in different fields of economy, especially in the sector of agriculture and implement the agreements promptly.
The NCF kicked off on Thursday in Seoul in presence of a number of foreign countries' envoys, including Iran.
Iran's Ambassador to South Korea Hassan Taherian delivered speech in the conference and evaluated the ground for bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture very desirable.
Iran's pomegranate has very good market in South Korea and several Iranian companies have exported the products to that country.
The NCF has 1,134 small and big agricultural cooperatives members with a population of 2.610 million persons.
