Iran, Lebanon review military cooperation
EghtesadOnline: Iran's military attaché to Lebanon colonel Mohammad Reza Mirzaei and new Lebanese Army Chief of Staff Major General Hatem Mallak on Monday considered military cooperation between the two countries.
Mirzaei congratulated appointment of General Mallak to the new post and expressed hope that the general would visit Iran in earliest convenience, reports IRNA.
He underlined Iran's readiness to assist Lebanese military and called for strengthening relations.
The Lebanese government appointed Major General Hatem Mallak as new Army Chief of Staff.
