Talks with Zionists on power plant industry unfounded, says official
EghtesadOnline: Managing Director of Iran’s Power Generation and Transmission Company (TAVANIR) on Friday strongly refuted rumors suggesting that Iran has entered into talks with the Zionist regime on power plant industries.
Involvement of the Zionist regime in such a project in Iran constitutes fabricated news and is totally unfounded, Arash Kordi told the Islamic Republic News Agency.
Recent reports by some media have recently alleged that a Turkish company, with extensive ties with the Zionist regime, has entered into negotiations with Iran to construct a power plant in the country.
Deputy Energy Minister for Electricity and Energy Houshang Falahantian had already expressed ignorance over the issue saying that as far as I know, there was no negotiation, memorandum of understanding or any kind of agreement signed with that company affiliated with the Zionist regime.
'If such a thing ever happens the ministry at any stage will terminate it,' Falahantian said.
