Iran calls Yemen bombing a “war crime”

EghtesadOnline: Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi rejected the allegation made by a US naval official that claimed Iran is providing Yemen with weapons and missiles.

Ghasemi’s remarks came after the head of US Naval Forces Central Command Vice Admiral Kevin Donegan claimed that Iran is sending weapons and missiles to Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement.

Qasemi stated that those false allegations are being made as the sale of destructive weapons and arms to Saudi Arabia continue despite the vast criticism and objections towards it, according to ISNA.

Iranian senior official underlined that an uncountable number of lethal weapons, bombs and US missiles are dropped on the defenseless and innocent women and children in schools, hospitals, jails and homes of Yemen by Saudi coalition, adding it is nothing but war crime.

“People all across the world witness the increased and intense aerial attacks on Yemeni people by Saudi leaders, “Ghasemi stated.

He stressed that Saudi government continues disastrous crime by the support of some powers, noting Saudi is rewarded and supported at the United Nations Human Rights Council for its killings and burning innocent people alive instead of being punished.

“This bitter tragedy will be recorded as a black stain in human history, “continued Ghasemi.
