SP22 platform's accessories successfully fixed

EghtesadOnline: Operator of the project for development of phases 22, 23 and 24 of South Pars Farhad Izadju said on Wednesday that the accessories, like flare supports and topside structure, of SP22 Platform have been successfully installed in the offshore position of the platform in the project for development of phases 22, 23 and 24 of South Pars.

Public Relations Department at the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) quoted the operator of the project for development of phases 22, 23 and 24, Farhad Izadju, that the accessories of the SP22 platform's flare were loaded in Azar (November 21-December 20) from Iran Marine Industrial Company (SADRA)'s yard based on the schedule and was transferred to the position of platform for phase 22.
According to IRNA, the operator said the steel structure was about 576 tons in weight and its construction began late June and was complete in four months.
Izadjun said operations to fix the flare support and topside began on December 26 and 10 days was spent to fix the structure.
Fixing of the accessories serves as an important step towards completion of construction operations up to exploitation of the first platform of phases 22 to 24 of South Pars by the employer and contractor of the offshore section of the project, said Izadju.
He said by June 20, two platforms of 22E and 24E OF phases 22 to 24 of South Pars, each with the capacity of extraction of 500 million cubic feet of gas, will be completed and ready for fixing and operation. 
The project for development of phases 22, 23 and 24 aims daily extraction of 56 million cubic meters of gas from South Pars and once it is complete, 50 million cubic meters/day sweet gas, 75,000 barrels of gas condensates, 400 tons of sulfur, and one million tons/year ethane and one million tons/year propane and butane will be produced.
